About ecookie
In June 2006, ecookie boutique opened its doors in the trendy and eclectic neighborhood of Abbot Kinney. Located in the heart of Venice, California, the boutique is the first New York inspired women’s apparel retailer in this now flourishing shopping area. ecookie has sought to offer a mix of new and emerging fashion designers.
ecookie was designed by Christoff Koon with a 1960’s modern era mixed with Asian flair. Vintage furniture, European wallpapers, imported silk wall covering, scented candles and vibrant flowers decorate the room to a warm and inviting shopping experience
The E behind ecookie: Elaine Francisco
Elaine Francisco was born and raised in Orange County California. She attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising for Visual Communications in Los Angeles, California. After graduating with a degree in Visual Communications, she moved to New York at a young age of 19 and began her career in the fashion industry as an Assistant Accessories Editor for the popular teen magazine, YM. While working at YM full time, she attended New York University for Business to expand her passion of starting a fashion boutique. While in school, she was also a contributing Market Editor for Cargo, Teen People, In Style, Fitness, and Red Magazine. She then became a fulltime Accessories Editor for People Stylewatch.
By the end of 2005, Elaine decided to move to California to pursue her dream of opening a fashion boutique.

ecookie’s mission is to provide women with a stylish, distinctive and a personal friendly shopping experience. Shoppers begin their shopping experience with an ecookie Style Specialist. This will ensure personal service and gives the shopper everything they need to know about styles and fabrics that fit their needs, shape and personal style.

With a men’s lounge located at the rear of the store, men can enjoy an ice cold beer with a variety of mens magazines while their women shop. The fitting rooms are also designed so that you can see the silhouette of the woman changing. It is opaque enough for privacy, but transparent enough for the mans pleasure. Soon to come: a flat screen with ESPN and many sports channels.
